The search for Ghana’s next representative to the Miss Grand International stage has come to a glamorous close.
On Saturday, August 1, 2026, the auditions and grand crowning of *Miss Grand Ghana 2026* were held in Accra, and Adelaide Somuah Twum emerged as the new Miss Grand Ghana 2026. 👑🇬đź‡
The event celebrated beauty, purpose, and advocacy under the pageant’s global theme of “Stop the War and Violence.” Contestants showcased talent, intelligence, and commitment to social impact, with Adelaide standing out for her poise, advocacy vision, and passion to represent Ghana on the world stage.
A NEW ERA OF PURPOSE-DRIVEN PAGEANTRY
Speaking on the milestone, Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennett, Head of Mission & Founder of the Diaspora African Forum, Embassy for the African Diaspora expressed her excitement and full support for the new queen and the pageant’s direction.
Kitava Yvettlana Fosuwaa Amankwaa, National Director of Miss Grand Ghana 2026, also thanked sponsors, partners, and the media for making the event a success and pledged to work closely with Adelaide Somuah Twum in the months ahead to prepare her for Miss Grand International 2026 in India.
