ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SORORS HONORED AT DAF EMBASSY

The DAF Embassy of the Diaspora was honoured to recognize three trailblazing sorors of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (AKA) with the prestigious DAF-W.E.B DuBois Award for Leadership and Social Justice on Monday, 12 January 2026 at the DAF Embassy in Accra, Ghana.

Mrs. Kiahna W. Davis – Visionary Leadership, Ms. Tracey Clark Jeffries-Social Impact and Entrepreneurship, and Judge Nicole Colbert-Botchway – Judicial and Civic Leadership.

These remarkable women embody the values of Alpha Kappa Alpha and the spirit of W.E.B DuBois, inspiring us all to strive for a more just and equitable world.

Sorority sisters, friends, and dignitaries including a representative from the Diaspora Affairs Office of the President, Lorrita Edoh, Co-Founder for DAF, Dr. Toni Luck gathered at the DAF Embassy in Accra, Ghana, to honour these icons.

Ambassador Dr. Erieka Bennett expressed her delight in bestowing this award, acknowledging their tireless efforts to uplift communities and champion social justice.

The DAF-W.E.B DuBois Award recognizes leaders who embody the principles of excellence, service, and activism.

We congratulate them on this well-deserved recognition.
