UNESCO Ghana Delegation Pays Courtesy Visit to DAF Embassy

The Diaspora African Forum (DAF), Embassy of the Diaspora is pleased to announce that a delegation from the UNESCO Ghana chapter paid a courtesy visit to Ambassador Erieka Bennett at the DAF Embassy in Accra on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

The delegation, comprising:
Mr. Moukala, Country Representative for UNESCO Accra
Dr. Damba, Secretary-General for National Commission for UNESCO
Mr. Carl Ampah, National Programme Officer for Culture, UNESCO
– Other dignitaries, including representatives from the National Commission for UNESCO and PR Edem

The meeting focused on exploring potential partnerships between DAF and UNESCO Ghana, leveraging their respective strengths to promote cultural exchange, education, and development. Discussions centered on collaborative initiatives that could enhance the impact of both organizations’ work in Ghana and beyond.

By working together, DAF and UNESCO Ghana aim to
Promote cultural heritage: Preserve and showcase Ghana’s rich cultural diversity
Enhance education: Support initiatives that improve access to quality education
Foster development: Collaborate on projects that drive economic growth and social progress

The DAF Embassy looks like forward to a productive partnership with UNESCO Ghana, leveraging their collective expertise to drive meaningful impact in Ghana and beyond.
